Terms of Service

Chikitsa is software for running a clinic: patient records, the queue, prescriptions, the dispensary and reports. It keeps records and helps the clinic work faster.

It is not medical advice and does not diagnose or treat anyone. Every clinical decision is the doctor’s, and the doctor remains responsible for the care of their patients and the accuracy of what is recorded.

• The person who creates the clinic is its owner. The owner is responsible for who they add as staff and what role each person has.
• Give accurate details, and keep sign-in details private. Tell us at once if you think an account was used by someone else.
• You must be a person or organisation entitled to run a clinic or practise where you operate.

• The patient records you enter are yours. We hold them to provide the service and for nothing else. See the Privacy Policy.
• You are responsible for having the right to record and use patients’ information, including any consent your practice or the law requires you to obtain.
• You can ask us at any time for a copy of your clinic’s records.

Every new clinic gets its first 30 days free. No card is taken and no code is needed. After that you choose how long to pay for:

• 1 month: ₹2,999
• 6 months: ₹6,999
• 12 months: ₹9,876

Nothing renews by itself. Each payment is one you start. When the period you paid for ends, the clinic’s workspace is locked until you choose a plan again. Your records are kept, and you can ask us for a copy.

The prices above apply to purchases made now. If we change a price, the change applies only to later purchases, never to a period you have already paid for. Prices are in Indian rupees; if GST applies to your purchase, it will be shown at payment.

Refunds are covered in the Refund Policy.

• Use it for your own clinic. Do not use it to break the law, to store things unrelated to running a clinic, or to attack or overload the service.
• Do not try to reach another clinic’s data, or to get around the limits of your role.

We work to keep Chikitsa running and to fix problems quickly, but we do not promise it will never be down, and we do not give an uptime guarantee. It depends on Google’s services and your internet connection. Plan for the occasional interruption.

• You can stop at any time by not buying another plan.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts other clinics or the service at risk. Where we can, we will tell you why first.
• After a plan ends or an account is closed, ask us within 30 days and we will send you a copy of your records.

We provide Chikitsa as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for clinical outcomes, for loss that was not caused by our fault, or for indirect loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh have jurisdiction. We would always rather settle a problem by talking first.

If we change these terms we change the date at the top, and we tell the clinic owner before a material change takes effect. Continuing to use Chikitsa after that means you accept the new terms.
